
OHL Priority Selection 2011

Congratulations to the three Lambton Jr Sting Minor Midget (95) AAA players that were selected in Saturdays 2011 OHL Priority Selection Draft. The earliest selection was forward Corey Pawley, who was selected in the 4th round, 71st overall by the London Knights. Nick Zottl was selected 215th overall in the 11th round by the St. Michael's Major's. Rounding out the Lambton Jr Sting players drafted was Ryan Trottier who was selected in the 13th round, 243rd overall by the Barrie Colts.
Coach Slipacoff says its been an exciting year for the minor midget team. "I'm very happy for the guys who were fortunate to be selected in the OHL draft. Their Jr hockey journey's are just beginning. I'm very excited to watch them in their continued development".
