The Lambton Jr Sting AAA Hockey Association will, for the second year, hold tryouts for ALL ALLIANCE AAA teams (minor atom to minor midget) in April with the selection of teams to be completed by early May. Try out dates will be sent out in the next month.
The process for coaching recruitment and selection is now open. Coaching applications are due by February 20, 2012, with those selected for interview to be interviewed on Saturday March 3, 2012 at the RBC Center (tentative date – to be confirmed). The coaching selection committee will do it’s best to confirm that the interviews are this date.
Applicants considered for a coaching position must be interviewed; accordingly please do your best to ensure you are available for an interview on this date.
Complete applications will include valid and current (within past month) police check, supporting documentation regarding Speak Out accreditation, coaching certification, written references, as well as written confirmation of the applicant’s understanding of and compliance with the Coach’s Code of Conduct.

Lambton County Minor Sports operates as The Lambton Jr Sting AAA Association. The Association and its volunteers are dedicated to:

• Enhancing the positive values of hockey by providing coaching role models who demonstrate leadership, strong work ethic, and community pride with the goal of developing strong future leaders based on their example.

• Supporting the mandate of Hockey Canada by working with other hockey centres, Alliance Hockey and the Ontario Hockey Federation to promote and grow minor hockey in Lambton County
