Minor Midget - Minor Midget's have solid start to round # 2

Our team had a solid start on the scoring side of the puck, but will need to improve on the defensive side if we are to advance thru to the next round of playoffs. We were able to collect 3 out of a possible 4 pts on the weekend and are looking forward to this weekend were we have a chance to move on if we collect another 3pts.

Minor Bantam - Sting defeat Windsor with a hard fought team effort.

In a must win game against the Windsor Spitfires the Sting kept their faint playdown hopes alive with a hard fought 5-2 victory. Scoring for the Sting was split among many players with goals by Dawson Vautour, Isaac McLean, Byron Monague-Ruzik, Brock Perry, and Alec Dekoning. Providing the helpers were Logan Scott, Ryan Greenaway, Monague-Ruzik , and Franco Sproviero helped out with 3 assist game. Anthony Hurtubise was steller in between the pipes.The Sting now trail both the Cambridge Hawks and the Brantford 99'rs by 6 points with all 3 teams having 4 games to play.

In a very spirited tussle, the Lambton Sting ended up on the short end of the score 3-1. Scoring for the Sting was Alec Dekoning from Franco Sproviero . Kaden Fulcher made many nice saves.

Minor Peewee - NATIONS CUP TOURNAMENT SUMMARY

The Lambton Junior Sting Minor PeeWee AAA participated in the Nations Cup in Warren, Michigan from January 20 – 22 and were matched up with some of the top ranked teams in the United States. This tournament provided a tough test for the Sting and although they would lose 4 of the 5 games played, the scores were all close and the coaching staff was pleased with the solid effort.
