FORMAL NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE TO LAMBTON JR STING AAA MEETING TIMING
ACTION: Coaches and Team Managers please forward to all your parents to advise them of the following.
MESSAGE: The Lambton Jr Sting Executive has voted to change the timing of its Operating Committee Meetings from every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7pm, to every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 8pm. This change will take effect with the next meeting November 17, 2009.
The Operating Committee Meetings will follow a standard format. If there is interest in being on the Agenda of this meeting, the individual so interested must forward to Ruth Ann Windover (association Secretary) in writing the nature of their request two weeks in advance of the meeting and the President or First Vice President will be responsible for approving this addition. This individual requesting will be advised if the agenda item has been approved.
Further, as stated in the Lambton County Minor Sports constitution, members of the Operating Committee who can be in attendance are:
Elected Executive:
President
First Vice President
Second Vice President
Chaired Positions of the Operating Committee
Secretary
Treasurer
Finance Chair
Public Relations
Ice Coordinator
Policy Chair
Risk Management
Equipment Management
Programme Coordinator
Team Representatives
2 representatives from the parents, coaches, or managers of the Lambton AAA hockey teams.
It is imperative that at a minimum, one representative from the Coach/Manager/Parent Reps of each team be in attendance. If more than two consecutive meetings are missed by any team without advance written notification to the Secretary with rationale, the President or Vice Presidents will contact the team Manager to discuss. This is your Association and your involvement in its success is critical.
Any questions with respect to the above can be directed to Mike Annett, President or Doug Foubister, Vice President.
