The Sting ended their playoff run with a hard fought 2- 0 loss to the Huron Perth Lakers on Saturday . In a very tight checking game , the teams headed in to the third period tied 0-0 . Huron Perth broke the tie midway through the third on a goal mouth scramble . The boys never gave up , but with 9 seconds remaining Huron Perth iced the game with an empty net goal . Anthony Hurtubise was outstanding in net to finish of a great season. Congratulations go out to Huron Perth for winning a great series , and to the Sting for having a great playoff run.
