Name:  Sam McCormack
Current/Last team played for: Sarnia Legionnaires  2017-18 - GOJHL
Years Played in Lambton (eg: 2008-2012)  :  2006-2013 (every year from Minor Atom through to Minor Midget)
1. What was your favourite minor hockey memory? I had a lot of favourite minor hockey memories. I had a great group of friends that played throughout the years. We had so much fun in the hotel hallways playing mini sticks. We also had great coaches that made it fun for us... Joe Clark and his crew, My Dad, Gino Vitella and Brad Riley.

2. Greatest accomplishment in Jr Hockey? My greatest accomplishment was being asked to be the captain of my hometown team, The Sarnia Legionnaires . My final year, i was awarded the People's Choice Award, and that meant a lot to me. Although, we didnt win a conference title, we won some big games and I played with great people.

3. When you played for Lambton, who was your favourite Sting player?  When I played for Lambton, my favourite players were Alex Galchenyuk and Nail Yakupov. They lived down the street and would play street hockey with us. I also enjoyed watching Matt Martin.

4. What one thing did you learn in Minor hockey that helped you get to the next level?  The one thing I learned in minor hockey to help me get to the next level was to always believe in yourself. Some people may knock you down and say you arent big enough, strong enough or whatever, but if you put the work in and never give up, you can do what you set your mind to.

5. What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?  In 10 years I hope to be serving my community as a firefighter.
