Name:  Scott Boomsma
Current/Last team played for: University of Windsor Lancers   2009-2010
Years Played in Lambton (eg: 2008-2012) :  2002-2003

1. What was your favourite minor hockey memory? My favourite minor hockey memory would have to be playing in tournaments . Being away from home, staying in hotels and hanging out with your friends were the best times. The only thing i had to worry about was getting my homework done on the way to the tournament so I could play Mini Sticks in the hotel.

2. Greatest accomplishment in Jr Hockey? Just being lucky enough to play Jr hockey was an accomplishment. The day i signed with the Brampton Battalion was a great accomplishment for my family and myself.

3. When you played for Lambton, who was your favourite Sting player? I can remember my family having Sting season tickets for many years, including the first year in Sarnia. My favourite Sting players to watch were Dan Watson and Corey Brekelmans

4. What one thing did you learn in Minor hockey that helped you get to the next level?  One thing that I learned while playing minor hockey was how to deal with adversity. Knowing I can deal with a situation and move forward is somthing that has really helped me.

5. What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?  My wife and I both work for the St. Clair Catholic School Board, so I can see us continue working there. Hopefully we can grow our family with a few healthy children.
