Name: Colin Osler
Current/Last team played for: Dorchester Dolphins 2017-2018 PJHL
Years Played in Lambton (eg: 2008-2012) : 2012-2015
1. What was your favourite minor hockey memory? My favourite part about minor hockey was the road trips. Whether it was carpooling with teammates or riding on a bus, it was always a fun time and I’ll remember many of those road trips for the rest of my life.
2. Greatest accomplishment in Jr Hockey? My greatest accomplishment in Jr. hockey was winning the 2017 PJHL Yeck Division Championship during my first year with the Dorchester Dolphins. After winning our division, my team had the chance to compete for the Schmalz Cup. Even though we did not make it out of the first round, it was still a very cool experience.
3. When you played for Lambton, who was your favourite Sting player? When I played for Lambton, my favourite Sting players were Alex Galchenyuk and Nikolay Goldobin.
4. What one thing did you learn in Minor hockey that helped you get to the next level? The most important thing that minor hockey taught me was the importance of teamwork. Hockey is a team sport and you have to trust your teammates and coaches in order to be successful.
5. What do you see yourself doing in 10 years? Currently, I’m enrolled at the University of Western Ontario studying chemical engineering. In 10 years, I hope to be working for an engineering firm as a chemical engineer.
