1. What was your favourite minor hockey memory? My favourite minor hockey
memory would have to be playing in all the tournaments. Playing mini sticks in
the hotels, the team lunches and dinners, getting the chance to play new teams.
Tournaments were always good for a laugh or two.
2. Greatest accomplishment in Jr Hockey? My greatest accomplishment in Jr Hockey would definitely be being named captain of the Sarnia Legionnaires. To be named the captain after so many great players before me wore the C was a huge honour. I was lucky to have some awesome captains as mentors before me show me how to lead a team.
3. When you played for Lambton, who was your favourite Sting player? When I played for Lambton my favourite Sting player was Steve Stamkos. He was fun to watch and a good guy to try and model my game after. There was always tons of energy when he was on the ice.
4. What one thing did you learn in Minor hockey that helped you get to the next level? One thing i learned in minor to get me to the next level was to always keep a solid work ethic and to challenge yourself everyday, focus on doing the little things better everyday. Whatever you want to take away from the game, if you focus and work hard at it, you can achieve it. Most importantly just have fun with it, every time you come to the rink and step on the ice just take it all in and enjoy it!
5. What do you see yourself doing in 10 years? In 10 years I see myself hopefully helping to coach a minor team and mentor some young players. Im hoping to become a firefighter at some point in my life.
