Coaches Spotlight
Name: Jonathan Taylor

Team: Lambton AAA Major Midget '01-'02

What made you want to be a Hockey coach?:  For the love of the game and also enjoy teaching 16 & 17 year olds so many life skills that can come from playing the greatest game on earth.

What is your pregame ritual?usually involves grabbing Tim hortons and heading to the rink 2 hrs before game time. It’s my quiet time to review the opponents stats as well as game notes from previous games we played against them.

What is your greatest coaching memory?honestly there’s been so many I cant pick one. I actually think my best memories are still being made and seeing players that I coached in the past having successful careers, becoming husbands and even fathers is the most rewarding for me. It’s so exciting when these guys make a point to keep in touch with me and update me on everything going on in their life. Some have even become hockey coaches themselves and I like to think somehow I played a small part in everything they have become.
