STING TEAM UP WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO LAUNCH TWO CAMPAIGNS BATTLING COVID 19 LOCALLY

SARNIA, ON- The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club are pleased to announce that the Club has  teamed up with community partners: Friends of Sarnia Minor Hockey Youth & Education, the Bluewater Health Foundation and Lambton Elderly Outreach to launch two campaigns, joining the fight against COVID 19 in Sarnia-Lambton.  

“As leaders in this community it is our duty to do what we can to make this the best possible place to call home. We do not want to sit on the sidelines waiting, but rather join our community in this fight and help those who are most vulnerable at this time.” Comments Sting President Bill Abercrombie. 
 
“We would like to thank all front line, and essential workers for what they do each and everyday as well as everyone who has stepped up to help at this time, we hope that these campaigns can assist them in some way.” Abercrombie adds. 

 Friends of Sarnia Minor Hockey & Education Online 50/-50  in support of the Bluewater Health Foundation  and the COVID-19 Fund.

The big jackpots from Sting 50/50 raffles are going online to help battle COVID 19. All proceeds from this raffle will go to support the Bluewater Health Foundation COVID 19 Emergency Response Fund.

• 50/50 winner to be announced Saturday, June 27, 2020
• Winning number will be posted online, and winner will be contacted directly by Friends of Sarnia Minor Hockey Youth & Education.
 
PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS BEFORE JUNE 15, 2020 at 8 PM EST TO ENTER THE EARLY BIRD DRAW!

Those with 50/50 tickets purchased before June 15, 2020 at 8 PM will be automatically entered to win a Flex 10 ticket package for the 2020-21 Sarnia Sting Season along with authentic, game warm Ryan McGregor hockey gloves!  ($450 value)

Fans can wear their Sting gear and community with pride, while helping the most vulnerable at these times by purchasing a Puck COVID tee shirt. Shirts come in a wide range of sizes and are just $25 tax included. All proceeds from this product will go to support Lambton Elderly Outreach and particularly their new COVID 19 support initiatives.
