Lambton AAA Team of The Year Award
The Lambton Jr. Sting AAA organization is pleased to announce that the Minor Pee Wee 2008 team has won Lambton AAA Team of the Year Award. The 2008 team had a very successful league and tournament season and finished with a combined 30-17-10 record with 221 goals for and 163 against.

The Minor Peewee Alliance season included a 2nd place finish in the West (3rd overall) which included a 14-game unbeaten streak to end the season. This unbeaten streak was highlighted by giving 1st place Elgin their only tie and only loss (2-0) of the season. They were also ready to face Waterloo in the playoff finals before Covid 19 ended the season.

Their tournament schedule success included winning the Championship at the CCM World Invite Tournament in Nashville Tennessee. The 2008 team also finished with a winning record in the prestigious Shanahan Tournament in Toronto and advanced to the knockout round in the Mississauga Rebels Border Battle Super Series.

The Lambton Jr Sting AAA organization had a successful season. When Covid halted the season, the Major Atom 2007 team was also in the playoff finals and the Minor Atom 2010 team was still competing in their playdowns. Kudos to both of those teams as well.

Congratulations to all the players and staff of the 2008 team.
