2019-2020 Major Atom MVP Matthew Henderson
My pick for the 2019-2020 Major Atom (2009s) MVP award is Matthew Henderson
Matthew is a exciting young hockey player who everyday comes to the rink prepared to work his hardest and help his team in every way that he can. Matt is an excellent skating, has great vision, and can take over a game at any point.
As his coach I find that Matt's biggest strength is his compete level. He is the hardest worker in practices, dry land and his games. His dedication, his love for the game, and his desire is why he will continue to progress as a hockey player. Matt always wants to know how he can help the team, whether its drills for practices, dry land options or how we play in a game. Matt is a true student of the game and will always as for feedback from his coaches on his development. Finally, and I believe most importantly Matt is a wonderful young man and I so fortunate to coach him and his teammates. I look forward to see Matthew's development over the upcoming years.
