The 2006 group took a major step forward in becoming a top team in the alliance this past year. I am proud to have coached this great group of young men and excited to see what the future holds for them. Thank you to all of the players, coaches and volunteers for such a great year!
The recipient of the 2019-2020 Lambton Jr Sting Minor Bantam MVP is Jace Dupuis. In Jace’s first year playing at the AAA level, he has excelled and dominated in almost every part of the game. Jace’s strong physical presence on the ice elevated the game of all players around him and was noticed by both players and coaches across the league. Jace's quiet leadership in the dressing room and ability to mentally prepare for on ice activities made him a leader on the team and one of the most consistent players on the ice. The coaching staff often looked to Jace to play key minutes up front on the pp, pk and other critical times during the game. He has a team first mentality and even stepped up to play some important minutes back on defence when needed.
Congratulations Jace. It has been my pleasure to coach you through the 2019-2020 season, and I look forward to seeing the great things you will accomplish in the years to come.
