2019-2020 Minor Midget MVP Markus Hicks

  Well seeing as Covid-19 has put a damper on the 2019/2020 Season and Awards Banquet, we've decided to announce the Team MVP on social media.

To the Minor Midget 04 Coaching Staff, Most Valuable Player means. A well rounded player who recognizes and accepts differences, fights for a common cause, takes challenges head on, who has his teammates backs, has self discipline, integrity, confidence, consistency, has a positive attitude and acts like a professional.

 

            After many hours of evaluating each player, we narrowed it down to 5. These 5 players had many of the attributes listed above, it was very tough to pick just 1. There was one player that kept coming up in everyone of our conversations. So our process of elimination left us with one player, and this player was voted as the Team MVP by all coaches.

 

            It's an honor to announce that the 2019/2020 Lambton Minor Midget 04 AAA MVP is Markus Hicks. Congratulations Markus!!! Well done. You are an outstanding individual and a great Teammate. You kept things positive all year round even when things didn't go our way. You played in all situations with grit, confidence, consistency and accountability. Keep up the great work and keep being a great person..

 

              On behalf of your coaches, we would all like to wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Thanks, Congratulations and stay safe, we'll see you around the rink.
