Session 2 Registration
Session 2 - Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Hockey Update

As per the Alliance guidelines, the following is an update of our plan for Lambton Jr. Sting AAA hockey for Session 2 (November/December).  Unfortunately, we are still in Stage 3B of the Ontario Hockey Federation's 'Return to Play' protocol.  All teams from U11 to U18, inclusive, will continue with skill development sessions with their peers and our Lambton Jr Sting AAA Head Coaches.

Our goal continues to be delivering the best possible AAA experience while adhering to the directives set out by the Ontario Government, OHF, Alliance Hockey & Public Health Authorities. A best-case scenario would have us playing other AAA centers at some point.

As previously communicated, participants will be required to re-register for each session. These time frames are designed to make any ‘on the-fly’ adjustments to the structure, logistically easier for change to be affected (move forward or back as the pandemic requires).

The second session will be broken down as follows…. (Registration is open – Please contact your coach and/or manager ASAP to confirm registration)

Session 2 -November 2nd through December 31st– 8+ weeks

** Participants will be asked to sign up and pay a registration fee of $650 for this session. This can be done in 1 or 2 payments of $325 (Nov 1 and Dec 1).

**AAA players are encouraged to register prior to October 28th.

Lambton Jr. Sting AAA is offering players the following:

·         Three 1.5-hour ice times per week (4.5 hours total per week)

·         These 3 ice times will likely consist of 2 practices and 1 game (4 on 4)

·         Player development sessions (Scott Jones and Sarnia Sting)

·         All current 2020/2021 AAA Coaching staffs

Eligibility

The OHF and Alliance has stipulated the following regarding which players can register with LJS:

• Players who registered with Lambton in Session 1

What happens in January or beyond is entirely in the hands of the Ontario Hockey Federation in concert with Alliance Hockey, the Ontario Ministry of Health and local health units.  Once those decisions have been made, we will accelerate our programming to be at the leading edge of whatever can be offered.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
