Update – Message from the Board
With the kids going back to school next week, we wanted to give a hockey update for all the Lambton Jr. Sting AAA families.
To start, we would like to say thank you for your patience and your efforts in battling this global pandemic. We all miss being at the rink.

The OHF and Alliance Hockey are making every effort for a safe return to hockey and a Session 3. Lambton Jr. Sting AAA has assurances from our governing body (OHF) that we can extend and hopefully complete our season under the current lockdown timelines. The LJS Executive Board of the Chair has met and has agreed to make every possible effort for a return to the 2020-2021 season once the COVID restrictions are lifted.

To be clear, it is our intention to resume the season if possible. This means having an end of the current lockdown and having available ice time at our arena. A return to the color coded system with Lambton in the green, yellow or orange zones could make this possible. Should the provincially mandated lockdown persist longer than expected, and/or Lambton be in the grey/red zones, LJS will re-evaluate our options.

We encourage all players to continue to practice and work on their skills at home and on outdoor rinks. Please continue to check the website for updates.

Thanks,

LJS Executive
