Alliance Playoffs Game #1 vs Chatham-Kent Cyclones
The Minor Peewee AAA Playoffs are a round-robin format and Lambton opened the series against the Chatham-Kent Cyclones at home.

Max Steeves marked his return from injury to score Lambton’s first goal. Jared Pageau would score to increase the lead to 2-0 after the first period. Chatham would score to cut the lead in half but Steeves would add his second of the game to regain the two-goal cushion, with assist going to Jack Hackett and Nash Nienhuis. The lead would be increase to three goals when Ryan Gould scored. Lambton looked like they were going to be able to cruise to victory but the Cyclones would not go quietly and replied with two quick goals of there own to make it a 4-3 match at the end of period two.

Josh Barraclough, who played one of his best games of the year made it 5-3 early in the third but again Chatham came back shortly after to make it 5-4 and then scored again to knot it up at 5’s. Nick DiScanno’s goal would prove to be the difference when he buried one to make it 6-5. The Jr. Sting would hold on to win it 6-5.
