Alliance Playoffs Finals Game #1 vs Hamilton Reps
Play began at home for the Jr. Sting vs. Reps for the Alliance Playoff Championship.

Lambton was short-staffed with only 12 skaters dressed for the game due to injuries and other priorities but with a modified game plan in place the Lambton boys went to work.

Daniel Wellington got the Jr. Sting started wristing home a shot to give Lambton a one-goal lead. Garrett Miller would increase the lead to two goals firing home a long-wrister on the power play from the point to make it 2-0 at the end of the first. Defenseman Jacob Williams would score the next goal for Lambton again the power play. Williams’ goal was a rocket of a slap-shot from the point that went through the Reps goalie.

Lambton continued to stifle the Hamilton offense throughout the remainder of the second and well into the third period before the Reps would get their first and only goal of the game. The Jr. Sting would ride the strong play of Ethan Williams the rest of the way to claim a 3-1 opening game victory.

Daniel Wellington, Garrett Miller and Jacob Williams each had one goal.
Ryan Brown, Brennan McKegan and Jared Pageau each had one assist.

Ethan Williams had his best outing of the year in net.
