The Jr Sting PeeWee's had a home victory and a road tie in recent weekend league play. The Lambton squad defeated the Kitchener Jr Rangers 2-1 in a home match-up on Saturday and followed that up with a solid 1-1 outing in St. Mary's against the Eastern Division leading Huron Perth Lakers.
Anthony Hurtubise tended the net in both contests and was very good in helping to earn the 3 points. Scoring against the Jr Rangers were Brett Barnes and Ethan Dupont with assists going to Jarret Marks, Kyle Vince, Isaac McLean and Franco Sproviero.
After traveling to St Mary's the following day the Jr Sting came out strong and scored in the first period to take a one goal lead that would hold up until a dent was finally struck in the penalty killing machine that would become the Lambton squad. Scoring for Lambton was Jarret Marks from Dupont and Ryan Greenaway.
