Major Bantam's have a strong weekend.
In the first weekend of our regular season we met up with Last years League Champions Huron Perth and another proverbial power house Sun County. We started with an great performance against Huron Perth which ended as a 2-2 draw. Goaltending and Team play was the reason for the success against a very strong Huron Perth team. On Sunday we met up with Sun County at home and battled hard all game long and nearly pulled off another tie after being down 2-0 it ended as a 2-1 loss to another strong 96 team. This is a far cry from the 7-1 loss at the start of last year against a much lesser quality team. We still have a long way to go but as a whole a decent start to our season, good hustle boys.
