Minor Atoms Lose a Close One
As predicted the Chatham Cyclones came out looking for a win
after the tie against the Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Minor Atom team last
night. The Cyclones fought hard but the
Sting kept it close in the first ending the period 0 – 0. By the middle of the second the Cyclones were
up by 2 but Caleb Burchell put one between the pipes with an assist going to
Kaleb Edlington and Tyler Sleeves.
Starting the 3rd period with the game at 2 – 1 the Sting fell
by another goal making it 3 – 1 until Blake Butler picked up an unassisted goal, and
that’s where the game ended 3 – 2.
