Mino Records Second Shutout of Tourney
The Major Atom extended their winning streak in the Bauer World hockey tourney this morning.
The Sting faced off against the Atlanta Fire this morning at the Canlan Arena. The Fire came out shooting with two quick shots on net which Adam Mino tended easily. Wil O'Leary-Dilosa opened the scoring for the Sting 3 minutes into the first period with the assist to Blake Butler. Carter Barron, assisted by Tristen Konrad added another late in the first to go ahead 2-0.
In the second period Tristen Konrad and Jackson Cole added two more goals with the assists going to Bailey Moffatt and Kaleb Edlington. Jackson Cole added his second goal of the game in the third period on the pass from Tyler Steeves to finish up the game with a 5-0 final.
