Riding the wave of Anthony Hurtubise's second consecutive shutout the Lambton Bantams played their best game of the playoffs defeating the Waterloo Wolves 3-0 in Waterloo Sunday.
Both teams came out flying and skated to a hard fought 0-0 tie after the first period.
The Sting would explode for 3 unanswered goals in the second frame.
Eric Marsh would open the scoring on tricky slapshot to get things going for the Sting.
Alec Dekoning would show his resolve minutes later after getting up from a vicious hit to bury a hard wrister past the Wolves goalie. Jarett marks picked up the assist.
Byron Monague-Ruzik would finish the scoring bouncing on the rebound of a Brett Barnes slap shot .
The Lambton squad would show great discipline preserving the lead in the third to take home the win.
The series will return to Sarnia for a 4pm game at the RBC.
