Sting take series opener 4-1.
The Lambton Jr. Sting Bantams stole home ice from the London Jr. Knights in their 8 point series by cruising to a 4-1 victory Saturday in London.

The Knights who were maybe feeling the effects of a long layoff came out of the gates sluggish , and the Sting were able to capitalize early in the first.
Issac McLean would bury a wrist shot from the slot on a nice feed from Alec Dekoning and Brock Perry.
Two minutes later Alec Dekoning would continue his strong play with a unassisted effort to make the score 2-0.
Not wanting to sit on the 2 goal lead after the intermission Brett Barnes would break up a London play and send Jarret Marks in on a breakaway where he would make a dipsy do fake on the goalie to increase the lead to 3-0.
London would narrow the gap to 3-1 before Franco Sproviero would ice the game with an unassisted empty netter.
Anthony Hurtubise continued his stellar play in between the pipes these playoffs in the win.
Game #2 goes Monday night 7:30 pm at the RBC Center rink #2.
