Growth for the Major Bantams this weekend
The Sting AAA Major Bantams went 1-3 this weekend at the Prospects. Game one saw a unorganized undisciplined over matched Sting hockey club go down to The high powered Hamilton AAA hockey club. The only bright spot was Kyle Brinacombe, as he continued to battle through the 45 minute contest.

Game 2 was vs Cambridge AAA and a much closer match that was turned around by many untimely undisciplined penalties. Ethan Hunt gave them a chance to win and Max Steeves was the high lite player in the 6-2 loss. Game 3 was the first of many wins for this group as they competed much the night with a great deal of determination, The Sting had a couple players from the Minor Bantams that were very good and contributed in the 2-1 victory. Duncan Core and Cameron Rombouts were an comforting addition as the Bantams enjoyed there first win. Kyle Brinacombe was Brilliant and deserved the MVP honors. Game 4 vs Waterloo AAA  without question the greatest achievement so far in this early campaign. The Team competed for 45 minutes and not for the penalty trouble would have made this contest a lot more rewarding. Ethan Hunt was unconscious and Ben Schoch showed his dominance as he was awarded the MVP for the final game in the Prospect Tourney. This weekend showed great promise for this years Major Bantam group as the four game weekend garnered a huge improvement and promises to even get better as everyone is buying into our team success. This upcoming weekend will be another test as the Bantams take on Sun County, Elgin Middlesex and Brantford
