Lambton Jr. Sting Major Atom Thump Cambridge
The Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Major Atom team had
their home opener versus the Cambridge Hawks on Saturday at the SSEC and skated
to an inspired 7-2 victory.
Tanner Winegard led the attack with 2
goals. Singles went to Aaron Shanks,
Adam Maitland, Adam Osler, Ryan Pageau and Garrett Pearce. Pageau and Pearce each added 2 assists while
Ryan Vidler, Landon Buckingham, Jace McGrail
and Evan Morningstar picked up single assists. Caiden Smit was solid in net for the win.
The Sting are sitting at .500 with one win one loss and two ties and will continue league play versus
the Brantford 99’s on Saturday at the SSEC.
