2016-2017 > Minor Peewee (Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Hockey )

The Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Minor Pee-Wee hockey travelled to Ann Arbor to participate in the Nations Cup Hockey Tournament pitting Canada vs USA Minor Pee Wee AAA teams. The Sting were on the winning side bringing home nine (9) of a possible twelve (12) points for Canada, including a 4-point Final game versus the Pittsburgh Elite AAA hockey team.

The Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Minor Pee Wee’s are starting to get hot, winning 3 out of their last 4 games. Despite starting the season 0-6-1, the boys have rebounded by gaining a tie or win in 15 of their last 31 games. With their recent win over Windsor, the team has exceeded its previous seasons overall points in league play with 6 games to go. The boys just missed out on a playoff berth at the world-famous Bell Capital Cup in Ottawa, over the Christmas break. The team started the tournament with 2 close losses and then won their next 2. I would once again like to thank all the players and families who competed for a spot on the 2016-17 Lambton Jr. Sting Minor Pee Wee AAA team. There were some very tough decisions and I am proud of every one who tried out and gave it their all. The following is the final roster for the upcoming season:
