Sting battle Chatham to a 2-2 tie
The Jr. Sting recently travelled down highway 40 to face the Chatham Cyclones. The game did not start as planned with Chatham popping the first of the game on a questionable goaltender interference play. After debate from the referees they decided that there was no intent and the goal was allowed. Nicholas Steeves answered back by walking around a Chatham defender and putting a shot low glove, which found its way in the net and we were tied at 1. Mid way through the second Spencer Vandenboom made a tremendous pass to Nolan Degurse and Degurse made no mistake putting the Sting up by one. Penalty trouble haunted the Sting all game long and put them on the PK 10 different times vs only 3 times on the PP, it came back to bite them in the third and a PP goal for Chatham left the game tied 2-2.
