Major Midget, 2016-2017 (Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Hockey )

The midget team ended their season with a 3 day weekend of games.  They won 2 and loss 1 to finish in 2nd place for the year.  Their record was 34-17-1 for the season. The team will now start their playdown series against Huron Perth at home, Feb. 4 at 7:30 PM and Feb. 5 at 4:00 PM with both games being played at PASA Rink 1.  Come join us in cheering on the boys to a win.  The midgets were selected in the Alliance top three team 9 weeks in a row.  GREAT JOB BOYS

The Major Midgets played 3 very tough games this weekend all three going to overtime and 2 going to a shootout.  Windsor would get the win on Friday night in overtime, and would return to our rink on Saturday.  The sting would win this one in a shootout and than headed to London Sunday night to face Jr. Knights.  Again these teams would go to overtime and than another shootout with the Sting coming out the winners.  The Midgets now hold 2nd place 3 points ahead of London.  GREAT JOB GUYS

The Midgets played 3 exhibitions this past weekend. Traveling to Windsor Friday beating the Jr. Spitfires 4-1.  Then faced the London Jr. Knights Sunday morning and tied 2-2, came home to play the Jr. Spitfires in the afternoon and loss 4-2 with the fourth goal an empty net.  Next tryout Tuesday Sept. 13, there is a $20.00 tryout charge per tryout.

All players that played in lasts nights game are playing in Sunday's game in London.  We play at 9:00 AM at the Western Fair Sports Centre.  There is no bus for this game.

For our exhibition game in Windsor Friday night Sept 9th all skaters will be playing.  Please be at the arena for 5:00 PM the bus will be at the front turn a round and will leave at 5:15 PM.  We will supply pizza and drink for after the game.  Please bring a snack or food for ride down as we will not be stopping.  Bus for players only tonight.
