U15 earn bye to the Alliance Finals
Lambton U15 has earned their ticket to the 2022 Alliance Championship Finals.
After two rounds of playoffs the top 4 teams + host team, The Jr Rangers, were set for round robin play this weekend in Kitchener for the Alliance Championships.
First we faced the London Jr Knights and came out with a 4-2 WIN. Isaac Truman scored a hatty.
Next we had to go up against the top team in the regular season.. Huron Perth Lakers. Everyone was on their top game and we came out ahead with a 5-2 WIN. Jack Nesbitt was awarded a penalty shot.. and scored a beauty.
Day 2 we had the first game in the morning and took down Waterloo Wolves 2-0. With a quick turn around we were back at the rink to face the fresh Kitchener Rangers. The Boys were tired and Kitchener was hungry and we were handed our first loss of the weekend 6-3.
Then the waiting game began....
The Boys EARNED their spot to the final and will face the winner of this mornings semi-final which sees Huron Perth and Kitchener facing off.
The Boys have worked hard every shift of every game. Whatever the outcome of todays game.. Be proud of yourselves! You have shown how TEAMWORK pays off.
Todays final game is at 1:00pm at the Activa Sportsplex in Kitchener.
