Lambton Jr. Elves?
The U10 team was in the holiday spirit over the past two weeks!
You would typically see the U10 team showing off their skills on the ice, however, instead of the team filling the net with goals they were filling shopping carts with toys for the Sarnia-Lambton Women's Interval Home. The team purchased close to $1,000 worth of toys for the Women's Interval Home.
Words from the Women's Interval Home -- "Thank you to the Lambton U10 AAA Hockey Team for their amazing donation of toys. We have over 50 families registered to receive gifts, that includes 125+kids! We couldn't do it without your help!"
Additionally, the U10 team made Christmas cards for seniors and were found walking around the halls of the North Lambton Lodge senior home handing out these Christmas cards to very happy and excited seniors.
The U10 team would like to thank all their sponsors and people that have helped with the teams fundraising efforts. Without the help of these people the U10 team would have never been able to give back to the community like this. What a wonderful experience for all!
The U10 team would also like to give a big shout out to the Maidman Family and Booster Juice for giving the team booster juices after their shopping trip at Toys R' Us!
