Alliance Playoffs Game #3 vs Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs
Lambton was facing off at home in game three of the round robin against Elgin-Middlesex with the ability to clinch a spot in the Alliance Playoff Finals.
Play went back and forth early with neither team able to score until 8:18 of the first when Jared Pageau of the Jr. Sting fired a short-handed shot on net that eluded the Chiefs goalie for the one up lead. The first period ended with Lambton up 1-0.
The score remained that way until 10:41 of the second when Elgin tied it up, EMC added a second with under a minute to go in the period to make it 2-1 after two. Elgin continued to pressure the Jr. Sting and carried the play and added another goal mid-way through the third to make it 3-1, and that is how it ended.
Jared Pageau had one shorthanded goal. Nick DiScanno had the assist.
