Major PeeWee 98, 2010-2011 (Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Hockey )

The Jr Sting PeeWee's have fallen behind the Windsor Jr Spitfires in their first round of the Alliance Pavilion Playdowns. All victories in the series have come to the visiting team and the Jr Sting hope to continue the trend when they travel to Windsor for the fourth game in the series.

The Jr Sting PeeWee's extended their league winning streak to 5 games with two victories to bring the regular season to an end and lock up second place in the Western Division. After just missing out on the top position by one point the team will nonetheless enjoy a first round bye when the playdowns begin next week.

The Jr Sting PeeWee's have been busy with league games and as a result of going 3 wins against just one loss in their last 4 outings have managed to secure themselves at least second place in the Western Division of the Alliance Pavillion league standings.

In a weeknight match rescheduled due to last weeks snowstorms the Lambton squad hosted the Brantford 99er's at the RBC Centre and were treated to two periods of stellar goaltending to pace the home squad to the victory. After a strong first period that saw the home team carry the play and mount a 2-0 lead the players decided to take an early vacation and rely on Hurtubise to backstop the team to the win. Scoring for Lambton were Franco Sproviero and Morgan Halcovitch.

The Jr Sting AAA PeeWee's battled to a four point weekend in three divisional games in league action. The team defeated Elgin Middlesex Chiefs at home Friday night 4-2, tied Windsor on the road 2-2 and finally tied Sun County Panthers at home 3-3.
