Good start to season
Its been a good start for the Lambton Minor midgets for 2011-12
It looks to be a promising year with the addition of many new talented athletes combined with the nucleus of the past to seasons. We started out with the Prospects tournament in Toronto were we went 3-1 against some solid teams. By the end of the round robin we actually had the eight best results in overall standing however due the setup of the tournament finish out of the playoff round by 0.05 % of a point for the final wild card spot.
In our first two weekends of league play we are 2-1-1 against some of the alliance's best teams. We notched two solid wins against Huron Perth, Tied Sun County in a high scoring contest. and lost to the Cambridge Hawks who are current undefeated in five games. We have a long way to go to reach our true potential as a team but the fact we have been able to put this level of success together so far is exciting for all that are involved.
