Raised in Watford, hometown of the East Lambton Eagles and attending North Lambton Secondary School, Dakota has been playing minor hockey since the age of 7. Ever determined, he strives to excel and push himself to new heights.
Off the ice, Dakota is an accomplished distance runner as 1st local in Watford's Road race in 2012 and currently representing Team Ontario for the North American Aboriginal Summer Games in 2014.
Dakota's desire and dedication to self-improvement has been ongoing and is now thrilled to be playing with the Lambton Jr. Sting Major Bantam AAA Team this year.
