1st exhibition game in the books
Elgin 6 Sting 2
The first game together for the Major Peewees was a definite eye opener as they competed hard versus the very talented Elgin Middlesex Chiefs. The boys played close to the chiefs in the first period as the score was 3-0 after allowing 2 short handed goals. The second period was closer as the chiefs won that period 2-1 to take a 5-1 advantage into the locker room. The boyz skated hard in the 3rd and tied the chiefs 1-1 we ran out of time
The exhibition games continue as the AAA PeeWees host the Chatham Cyclones at the Progressive arena Wednesday pm. The players hope to improve their urgency in all areas of the rink in order to give themselves a chance to win each and every game. The first exhibition game is definately one to build.... reduce the PANIC and increase the urgency
