Niall Hetherington (born 8 January, 2002) is a tested Canadian goaltender for the Sarnia Sting AAA with more shots on net than any other in the Hockey Alliance.
Known for his athletic Lundqvist style of goaltending, he played two seasons with the
Chatham-Kent Cyclones before being signed to the Lambton Junior Sting in 2016. Hetherington is the goaltender studied in Cam Cobb's book, Next to
the Ice (Mosaic Press, 2016) and the model goaltender used for
Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence Camp Pro Hockey advertisements. Hetherington trains with mentor
Paul Burgess and Kitchener's Redline Conditioning.
