Shoot outs
|
There will be a three player shoot out if a game is tied after regulation play.
Winning shoot out team gets an extra point.

Refs
|
All Midget AAA games will use a 4 referee system.
This is a continuation of a pilot project with Hockey Canada.

Schedule
|
Midget AAA is now a 10 team league.
Teams will play an equal number of games (4) against all opponents.
|
|
Playoffs
|
Top 8 teams make the playoffs ( 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5 ).
The first 2 rounds are best 3 out of 5 while the finals are best 4 out of 7.
