Alliance Playoffs - Series #2 - Game #1 vs. Windsor Jr. Spitfires

The Jr. Sting hosted Windsor on Friday night to open the second series of the Alliance Playoffs against their first round opponent of the Playdowns.
Windsor jumped out to an early lead on one from the high slot. Daniel Wellington continued his strong play and scored to tie it up. Nash Nienhuis scored after a nice pacing play between Garrett Miller and Ryan Brown and it looked as though the Jr. Sting were finally going strong. But Lambton reverted back to their earlier play and Windsor tied it up late in the second. No scoring occurred in the third period although Windsor had a number of chances to take the lead.
In overtime both Windsor and Lambton had a number of good chances but neither were able to score. Play ended in a 2-2 draw. Unfortunately Lambton didn’t come ready to play and Windsor did.
Daniel Wellington and Nash Nienhuis each scored one goal.
Jack Hackett, Garrett Miller and Ryan Brown had single helpers.
