The Jr. Sting traveled to Windsor on Saturday afternoon hoping to get a win and take the lead in the series.
Josh Barraclough opened the scoring swooping in off the wing on a breakaway and putting the puck home. Windsor tied it up and were giving the Jr. Sting a game. Nash Nienhuis kept up his scoring and great play tapping home one from short range after Ryan Brown put it off the post off of a nice set-up by Garrett Miller. Windsor again tied it up. It was a nice tap in from Jack Hackett off a shot from Daniel Wellington that gave the Jr. Sting the 3-2 lead.
Lambton did what they had to do to win, holding on for a 3-2 road victory.
Josh Barraclough, Nash Neinhuis and Jack Hackett each had one goal.
Noah Myers, Ryan Brown, Garrett Miller and Daniel Wellington each had one assist.
Ethan Hunt was strong between the pipes.
