Alliance Playoffs - Series #2 - Game #3 vs. Windsor Jr. Spitfires
Submitted By rbrown on Saturday, March 13, 2010
The Jr. Sting were at home on Sunday afternoon hoping to put a stranglehold on the six point series vs. the Jr. Spits.

Lambton started out strong and Nick DiScanno opened the scoring for the Jr. Sting on a nice deflection off of a Jameson Hart shot.

Patrick Kelly got the call in net and made a couple of really nice saves in the second half of the first period to keep the one goal lead.

Daniel Wellington was the recipient of a bad clearing attempt by a Windsor player and potted another marker to get the Jr. Sting up two. The third period continued to be kind to Lambton and Nick DiScanno got his second of the game on a nice set-up from Garrett Miller. Josh Barraclough rounded out the scoring, tapping one in from close range after Jack Hackett worked the puck low and Daniel Wellington gave Josh the nice feed. The Jr. Sting did get beat a few times, and when they did Patrick Kelly was awesome in net.

Lambton now has a point lead of 5-1 and hopes to close out the series on Friday in Windsor.

Nick DiScanno had two goals.

Daniel Wellington had a goal and an assist.

Josh Barraclough had a goal.

Jameson Hart, Jacob Williams, Garrett Miller and Jack Hackett each had single assists.
