My name is Tom Babcock and I will be the head Coach of the Lambton Jr Sting U15 AAA team for the 2024/25 Season. I have been a Head Coach in Sarnia Lambton for 30 years now at basically every age and level of Minor Hockey both as a Parent and Non-Parent Coach. My last 6 years have been with Lambton Jr Sting AAA having been the Head Coach of the;

LJS 2005's U15 and U14
The decision to sign or release players is not an easy task. We as a coaching staff have developed a plan for the Team that we are looking to build in order to move us into a competitive spot at the top of the Alliance U15 AAA league. There are many that will come to try out for this team that will deserve to make a team at the 'AAA' level. The competition is so close that there will be NO easy choices when it comes to selections, so my Staff and I will base our decisions on a very specific fit for the roles that we are looking to fill. Every player that chooses to step on the ice and compete in our Tryout Process will receive our utmost respect and full due diligence to our Evaluation Process.
During this time, we understand that other 'AAA' level tryouts are happening. Within the rules and directives, if you are not "signed" by End of Day Thursday, and you would like an F1 Release to tryout elsewhere on Friday that option will be available to you. It is never a perfect system, but we understand the importance of finding a home within the 'AAA' level.
