Alliance Playdown – Series #2 - Game #4 vs. London Jr. Knights Gold
The Jr. Sting hosted London on Rink one at the RBC Centre on Sunday afternoon hoping to get a win and claw their way back into the series.
Both teams had chances in the first period but it ended tied at 0-0. Lambton started the second period quickly and got the first goal on a good solo effort by Max Steeves. London replied later in the period and then scored again to take a 2-1 lead in the third. Jack Hackett tied it up with six minutes to go. After a Jr. Sting penalty London scored to make it 3-2 and while the Jr. Sting tried valiantly to tie it up the Jr. Knights locked up the series with an empty netter.
Max Steeves and Jack Hackett each had one goal.
Ryan Brown and Brennan McKegan had one assist.
