Alliance Playoffs - Series #1 - Game #1 vs. Elgin Middlesex Chiefs (EMC)
The Jr. Sting hosted EMC on Saturday at noon after the game scheduled for Friday in Glencoe was cancelled. The Jr. Sting wanted to take advantage of getting the first game at home.

The play between Lambton and EMC was even early on but EMC began to take control and scored first. Lambton picked up the pace of play in the second period and the score remained 1-0 until Brennan Mckegan scored early in the third period on a rebound off a point blast by Nash Nienhuis. EMC regained the lead later in the third but Max Steeves knotted the score at two each, sending the game into overtime.

In overtime Lambton had a number of good chances on a power play but were unable to score. After the penalty expired the Jr. Sting committed an infraction of their own and were victimized by an end-to-end rush and lost in OT; 3-2.

The boys put in a strong effort and played right with Elgin.

Nash Nienhuis had two assists

Brennan McKegan and Max Steeves each had one goal.

Nick Discanno and Josh Barraclough had single helpers.
