Alliance Playoffs - Series #1 - Game #2 @ Elgin Middlesex Chiefs
The Jr. Sting traveled to Strathroy on Sunday afternoon hoping to get a win and tie the short 2 out of 3 series.

Both teams were cautious in the first and the period ended at 0-0. Lambton got on the board early in the second period with Ryan Gould bouncing one in off the rush assisted by Nick Discanno and Jameson Hart. It was a big goal for the boys on that line and got the team rolling. The Jr. Sting started to buzz and Cade Robbins buried one in the top corner after a nice feed from his D partner Garrett Miller. EMC scored to make it 2-1 but then Jameson Hart got the lead back to 2, after he picked off a pass and raced in and buried a wrister to make it 3-1 after two periods.

Lambton continued to control the play but then the Jr. Sting found themselves in penalty trouble and EMC went on their first of two, five on three power play opportunities. Lambton killed off the first one, with a number of players sacrificing their bodies to block shots. The Jr. Sting were not able to kill off the second, five on three and EMC made it a 3-2 hockey game with less than four minutes to go. Lambton continued to do what they had to, to get the win and held on to a 3-2  road victory.

Lambton tied the series 1-1 and will travel to Glencoe on Tuesday for game three.

The line of Ryan Gould and Jameson Hart (each with a goal and an assist) and Nick Discanno (2 assists) led the team with their efforts.

Cade Robbins had a goal and Garrett Miller and Jack Hackett each had assists.

Ethan Hunt was strong between the pipes.
