Cole Lauzon, played a fantastic game for his team turning away all but one goal in the most Important game of the season for this team.We were down two players and faced with a need to either tie or win to move up Into the playoffs consolation round so we found a way to win 2-1 vs Windsor in Windsor. It was just brought to my attention that this is the first time this 96 age group has avoided the consolation bowl and have earned the right to play for something more and have moved up instead of down after the first round of their playoffs. Right from the drop of the puck our boys came out with a controlled desire to win. Our boys need to hold their heads high as they are starting to learn how to win as a team and that it takes a team to win. We rolled all three lines today for the whole game and everyone played with great focus and big hearts. Boy's your coaching staff is very proud of how far you have come in the last two months and how far you have come since the start of this season. Congratulations on a new first!
