Alliance Playoffs Finals Game #3 @ Hamilton Reps
Lambton traveled to Hamilton for game three of the 6-point series
The Jr. Sting got off to a slow start but kept the score even until 7:02 of the first when Hamilton scored. The Reps would add another late in the first to make it 2-0. The Jr. Sting were again back on their heels in the second and Hamilton took advantage scoring three quick goals to make it a 5-0 game only three minutes into the second.
After a time-out to settle the boys down Lambton’s Ryan Brown scored on the power play wristing one home on a rebound from a Ben Schoch shot. It looked as though the Jr. Sting might attempt a comeback. That idea was squashed; when Hamilton scored two more goals within a minute of each other to make it 7-1 after period two.
The third period was a hard-checking affair with neither team backing down, both teams trying to send a message. Hamilton that the series was theirs, Lambton that tomorrow would be their day. The game ended at 7-1 Hamilton.
Ryan Brown scored the loan goal with Ben Schoch and Jacob Williams getting the assists.
