Despite Effort Peewee's Fall to London
Lambton started slow and found themselves trailing 3-0 before they turned it on but the deficit was too big to overcome, especially against a team like London.

The boys gave an all out effort for the last two periods and really took the play to London in the third but the lesson learned is playing behind vs the Knights is a recipe for disaster.

London scored the only goal of period one when a man was left alone in front and buried the shot. They took a 2-0 lead early into the 2nd frame on a snap shot from out high. The Knights widened their lead to 3-0 a couple minutes later on the PP when a turn over left the London sniper on the door step and he buried it just under the crossbar.
Things looked bad for the Lambton squad but they dug down and responded with a goal a minute after London. Eric Cardinal knocked in a loose puck with Jared Pageau assisting. Cardinal was in uniform due to the Sting missng two players and did an amazing job bringing high energy and a motor that never stops.
From that point on Lambton controlled the majority of play with alot of action taking place in the Knights end but could not get another by the London goalie. London added an empty netter late for the 4-1 margin.
Great effort and now the kids realize they can play with this highly skilled team.
Game two goes Friday at the RBC.
