Sting Even Series
Playing arguably their best game of the season the Peewee's evened their series with the Jr. Knights with a hard fought and well desrved 2-1 victory.

The contest was a hard skating, hard hitting affair with the kids giving max effort each and every shift.
London opened the scoring with a PP goal at the 8:19 mark of the 2nd frame. The Sting responded two minutes later with a PP goal of their own when Max Steeves slammed home a loose puck as Jacob Williams and Jared Pageau drew the assists.
Lambton would then take their first lead of the series at the 11:16 point of the third when Josh Barraclough snapped home a rebound from a Jared Pageau shot. Jacob Williams also assisted on the play.
Things looked good for Lambton as they were awarded a PP with a 1:53 left in the game but that was short lived as Lambton was called for interference 50 seconds later putting it 4 on 4 and London pulling their goalie for the extra attacker. The boys held up under the final flurry and skated off with the win.
Ethan Hunt was very good in net making many big saves including a break away.
Josh Barraclough had the hit of the night as he separated an opponent from the puck right at their blue line that should make it on Cherry's next Rock em Sock em.
No Rest for the Wicked as the series resumes Saturday afternoon in London. Hopefully some of the walking wounded are feeling better.
